CCO Student Ministries
Senior High
Refuge: a place of shelter, retreat, and/or protection; a stronghold and safe haven.

It is our heart and goal that Refuge will be the place where Senior High students will not only connect with God and one another, but also be equipped to advance God's kingdom by making His name known. Refuge is a large group gathering on Wednesday nights that involves worship, games, teaching, and fun.
Discipleship Groups (or D-Groups) are definitely where it's at! Each group consists of a group of Senior High Students, paired up with a few adult leaders, who will meet weekly throughout the school year. The purpose behind each D-Group is to help our students build genuine relationships that last. They will all laugh and have fun together, pray and study the Bible together, as will as encourage and challenge one another! Groups generally meet on Sunday nights, with meeting times being flexible based on the needs of each particular group.
Core: the central, most essential part of any element

At the Core of what we're about in our Student Ministries, we want to teach teens that encountering God through studying His word is absolutely possible! Each week, we'll have a time of worship that kicks off our morning and then we'll break our students off into their Core Classes for concentrated studies. There is a 9th/10th grade class as well as an 11th/12th grade class offered during our 2nd service.
Throughout the year, we will be offering special events that will not be anything like the regular Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights. They will consist of Bowling Nights, Movie Nights, Concert Nights, Special Retreats, Costume Party, Christmas Extravaganza, Lock-ins, Video Game Tournaments, Fall Kick-Off, Service Mission Trips, Move, etc.
